Meet Gregg Harris
Let us introduce you to Gregg. In case you may not know, Gregg Harris is internationally known as a pioneer advocate in the Christian home schooling movement. He is author of the bestselling book, “The Christian Home School”. He and wife Sono married in 1974 and have seven children, six sons and one daughter. Gregg’s beautiful wife, Sono, went to be with Jesus on July 4, 2010.
Gregg now single-parents and home schools his two youngest children, Isaac and James with the help of his only daughter, Sarah who is 19, along with devoted members in his local church. He also serves as an evangelist and church-planting missionary wherever he is. Gregg is currently serving as a Teaching Elder for Gresham Household of Faith in Gresham, (www.ghofcc.org) which has successfully led to the planting of six additional local churches in the Pacific Northwest. He is Director of Noble Institute, www.nobleinstitute.org, which coordinates his monthly presentations of the Household of Strength Seminar, a weekend presentation which furthers family-household restoration nationally through authentic Christian conversion, marriage renewal, child training, home schooling, family business, hospitality and cultural influence.
He is father of four other children, among whom are, Joshua Harris, Senior Pastor of Covenant Life Church, a large church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and author of many bestselling books including “I Kissed Dating Goodbye”, Joel Harris, Director of the Northwest Academy of Worship Music, and twin sons, Alex and Brett Harris, founders and co-hosts of www.therebelution.com web site, authors of the book, “Do Hard Things” and leaders of The Do Hard Things Conference, which was attended by 2000 people at the Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville in August of 2011. Gregg resides with his three youngest children in Gresham, Oregon.
